How to increase your running speed and improve your marathon time is probably one of the top three questions I receive as a coach. So I put together a quick 10-11 minute video describing how adding speed training to your workouts can improve things like VO2Max, Lactate Threshold, Strength, Stamina, and so on. I also describe when it is appropriate to add speed training and when it is not and what percentage of your training should focus on speed workouts. Up-tempo workouts are not for everyone.
